Warranty Terms and Conditions

5 Year Structural Warranty

Industry leading structural warranty covers the draw bar and chassis only from fatigue and has a guarantee for a period of 5 years from original date of purchase. 5 Year structural warranty applies to all Campers and Caravans from 2015 (V2 and onwards).

    1. Warranty is valid only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred or deferred in any way. Once sold or otherwise disposed of by the original purchaser to any third party, Black Series accepts no liability, claim logged by anyone other than the original owner.
    2. Warranties are not valid on items purchased for the purpose of rental, loan or commercial use.
    3. No warranty is offered on products sold at auction or as demonstrator, factory seconds or used products.
    4. Warranty does not cover the product in the event of abuse, misuse, accidental damage or collision, modification of design, rust, fair wear and tear (wheel bearings, wheels, tires, paint, travel cover, zips and mesh.) neglect, incorrect or inadequate maintenance. Suspension, wheels nuts and bearings must be checked before every trip. Wheel bearings must be serviced by an authorized motor mechanic every 5,000km or 6-month intervals whichever comes first (as per the service handbook). Note for extreme use the Camper or Caravan will require more frequent wheel bearing service (River crossing, beach use, touring etc.). Service handbook must be kept up to date for any claim.
    5. Camper and Caravan bodies or / and their workmanship are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from original date of purchase. General wear and tear are exempt.
    6. All warranty work is to be carried out by Black Series or by a Black Series authorized representative unless with the express written permission of Black Series. Black Series will repair or replace the item at Black Series’ discretion.
    7. Any transport, accommodation, towing or recovery costs arising from a warranty claim are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise stated in writing by Black Series.
    8. Your Black Series Camper or Caravan comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The benefits within our Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to our Black Series Campers or Caravans.
    9. Warranty is valid to Black Series Campers and Caravans that have been maintained in accordance the Black Series Owner’s Handbook. Note if warranty claim is lodged, service documentation will be required to support your claim.

Warranty Process

Please note; all warranty claims must be lodged through our website using our online Support Form. All warranty claims must be completed with an invoice number. Failure to provide enough information or incorrect information may result to delays or a rejection to your claim.

Upon completion of the Support Form, our friendly Support Team will contact you to confirm a scheduled appointment date and time for inspection and/or remedy to any warranty claims.

You also accept that Black Series is not able to accept responsibility for personal items within your camper, hybrid, or caravan. Please ensure you remove all personal items prior to your confirmed inspection and / or repair date.

WARNING: Black Series recommends for safety reasons that ALL campers (soft floor and hard floor), are to be set up by two Adults at all times. Do not place any limbs or body parts in-between moving parts, boat racks, doors, draws and access compartments.

Goods Bought At Auction

Occasionally, Black Series, may, at its discretion, offer items for auction, either via a third part or independently. Whilst every effort will be made to provide all relevant information regarding the item on auction, as per Australian law, any and all goods bought at auction subsequently do not carry any statutory warranty. Goods sold at auction by, or on behalf of Black Series will carry no warranty unless specifically stated in writing.
